Primark Haul

Tuesday, 21 January 2014

The other day I ventured to Lakeside with my sister, mainly to check out the Primark there, and oh my I was not disappointed; It's huge!

Making my way round it was hard, as I wanted to be sure I had looked at every rack and rail so that I didn't miss a possible hidden gem. My main aim was to find myself a new handbag (which I did), but couldn't resist picking up some other pieces.

Daisy Shirt £12

A lovely sheer shirt, which is oversized but I think is ridiculously long at the back! Maybe it's just because I'm short, but it will make sure I'm covered if wearing this with leggings.
Grey Jumper £6
This jumper is so wonderfully soft and will be perfect for slouching around in, which is something I do a lot of, so comfort is key in my clothing!
Grey Crop Top £4
I'm not a huge fan of cropped tops as they look like regular tops on me, but this one was grey (grey is my favourite colour, if something is grey, I have to have it) and like the daisy shirt is oversized, so will just be nice to be baggy and comfy.
Green Vest top £4
The only non-monochrome piece of the bunch, I loved the leather-look detail across the top of the pocket, and thought it would be nice to add some colour to my wardrobe.

Black Bag £9

I have been needing a black handbag forever as I didn't actually own one *shock horror!* I don't know how I got by without such a major essential, but I can now safely carry my things around instead of using the black tote bag I have used to death. I wanted something simple, and this faintly snake skin patterned bag with silver clasp detail does the job nicely.

Necklace £5

I am a sucker for pretty necklaces, and couldn't resist add this beauty to my collection. I favour silver jewellery over gold, and thought this was a wonderful statement piece that would also look great with any of the clothing items above.
Ring Set £2
I'm not really a ring wearer as I am not very keen on how they feel (strange but hey ho), but I really want to be so thought these thin banded rings would be a good way to break myself in. They are meant to be midi rings, but I bought them in large so that I could wear them as normal rings.

Sleek Face Contour Kit (Light) £6.49
I also made a visit to Boots while at Lakeside, and finally managed to find this. I've hunted for this for ages at my local Boots and Superdrug and it's never been in stock every time I've been, but at long last this much raved about product in the beauty community is finally mine.
